Professor Maria Ela L. Atienza has been appointed as Visiting Professor of the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care at Anglia Ruskin University.
As Visiting Professor, Prof. Atienza will be involved in the conduct of an ongoing research project on nurse migration from the Philippines to the UK and prospects for return and reintegration to the Philippines, as well as the development of future collaborative projects on comparative nurse migration and the impact of nurse migration on structures and policies of health systems in sending and developing countries.
