The Safer internet Lab (SAIL) has released the research report on “GenAI and Electoral Disinformation: The Case of the Philippines” by Asst. Prof. Maria Elize Mendoza and Prof. Aries Arugay. This is part of SAIL Snapshots, a peer-reviewed article series featuring key research findings from Safer Internet Lab researchers and its associates. Parts of this research report were presented by SAIL during the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2025 in Lillestrøm, Norway.
