The UP Department of Political Science formally opened its 110th Anniversary celebration with the launch of an exhibit on 15 September 2025 at the Palma Hall Lobby.

The exhibit highlights the department’s distinguished history, significant milestones, and notable achievements, paying tribute to more than a century of excellence in political science education, research, and public service in the Philippines.

The launch was graced by UP Diliman Chancellor Edgardo L. Vistan II, together with Prof. Ruth R. Lusterio-Rico, PhD, Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy; Prof. Aries A. Arugay, PhD, Chairperson of the UP Department of Political Science; and incoming Chairperson Prof. Jean Paul L. Zialcita, PhD, along with faculty members and students of the department.
