Congratulations to Asst. Prof. Edcel John Ibarra for winning the 2024 Aileen San Pablo Baviera Prize!
The Graduate Research and Development Network on Asian Security (GRADNAS) established the Aileen San Pablo Baviera Prize in 2021 to recognize impactful academic publications on Southeast Asia-China international relations.
Asst. Prof. Ibarra’s winning article is entitled “Issue-Based Cooperation on Conflict Resolution in the South China Sea: Exploring Roles for ASEAN Beyond the Code of Conduct”, published in the Journal of Territorial and Maritime Studies. The article can be accessed here.
