The UP Department of Political Science held the second day of its book workshop last Saturday, 29 November 2025, at the Hive Hotel & Convention Place in Diliman, Quezon City. Editors and authors of our forthcoming volume, Contemporary Philippine Politics, reconvened to refine their chapters and continue the vibrant exchange of ideas.
Guided by Prof. Maria Ela L. Atienza, PhD, and Prof. Emeritus Teresa S. Encarnacion Tadem, PhD, the team is steadily shaping this 26-chapter follow-up to the Department’s seminal 2006 publications. We look forward to advancing the manuscript toward completion in the months ahead.
