Emmanuel L. Alba is a Teaching Associate at the Department of Political Science, University of the Philippines Diliman, and a second-year Master of Arts in Political Science (International Relations) student at the same university. He completed his undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, specializing in Anthropology and Political Science, at the University of the Philippines Baguio. Prior to joining the department, he served as a Senior Researcher and Chief Data Analyst at the House of Representatives, where he was involved in legislative research and policy analysis. His research interests lie in indigenous politics, Philippine politics, and the politics of survival among marginalized groups.
