Dr. Mischa Lentz has over 15 years of experience with various multilateral development banks and private organizations. He has led cross-sectoral development finance projects and policy dialogue initiatives in EMENA and APAC. Dr Lentz is currently Head of Climate Finance, Private Sector Development Department (PSOD), at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), where he is focusing on formulating and delivering the strategic approach to achieving PSOD’s climate targets and building climate and disaster resilience, including financing targets and Paris Agreement alignment . Dr Lentz has ample experience in collaborating with Governments and the private sector to alleviate poverty, foster open market economies, and drive sustainable growth.

A national of Germany, he holds a Doctorate degree (Dr.-Ing) and Masters in Civil Engineering and Finance from Technical University (TU) Berlin. Dr Lentz has lectured undergraduate and graduate courses at his alma mater as well as FOM University of Applied Science, Germany’s largest private university.
